The Student Progress Tracking Site
At the beginning
of the 2004 school year, WillowWood implemented a new service called
the Student Progress
Tracking System (SPTS). This customized software system was designed
to help WillowWood students reach their full potential
and keep parents informed of their child's academic progress.
Middle and High School
students can check what has been assigned for homework each night as well
as review upcoming assignments or projects including their due dates.
The Lower School section primarily shows assignments or projects rather
than daily homework. Parents and guardians may also check their child's
attendance record using the system. Because SPTS is Internet based, foreign-student
parents are able to track progress from anywhere in the world and will
eventually be able to view the system in their native language (English
and Korean is available thus far). Each parent (and student) of WillowWood
has been assigned a unique ID/password that is used to sign on to this
system.
